Little Havana makes it easy to build an outing around more than dinner. A sandwich stop and a music room can belong to the same evening, but they do not have to be the same stop.
Start with the meal
Sanguich de Miami Calle Ocho puts the Cuban sandwich at the center of the visit. Versailles gives you a restaurant and its cafecito window on Southwest 8th Street. For something sweet, Azucar Ice Cream Company keeps the outing on Calle Ocho.
Leave room for music
Café La Trova combines Cuban food with live music and a cocktail bar. Ball & Chain is another music-led night. Check the date’s program before choosing between a meal with music and a later dance floor.
Going to a Marlins game?
loanDepot park is in Little Havana too, but these Calle Ocho stops are not stadium concessions. Use the ballpark guide to compare the actual distances and leave time for the trip.
